"Objectively the first set was not very truthful about the balance of power between the two teams: in the opening for us everything was going really well, while the Tours struggled in every fundamentals. So, from the second set on, I was expecting a lot more difficult game and so indeed it was” - said Radostin Stoytchev in the mixed zone at the end of the challenge -. “Even then, however, we were always very careful, determined and focused in all the fundamentals and we controlled the match well very limiting our opponents. I'm happy because we collected a major achievement, but it is early to talk about qualification to the second phase. We have not the maturity to be able to afford this type of accounts; we must grow much more.”
In two weeks, on Wednesday, December 16th, the Italian champions will travel to France, playing in Tours the first match of the second round of Pool C 2016 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League. Before that game, however, three rounds of Super League are planned. The first already on Saturday, December 5th at the PalaBorsani of Castellanza (Varese) for the match of the ninth day on the field of Revivre Milano (at 6.00 pm - broadcasted live on Live Radio Dolomiti and www.sportube.tv).
